Salikians, it is out on the edge of federation space...it used to be really quiet but then it got busier and the things have been less peaceful. It's still comparatively quiet but, less than before...guess I need to find a new home. But not until ship transport is online...moving all 21 of my ships again just isn't gonna happen.
Bhotho. Made my first few millions mining the rings around Bhotho AB 3, and it's sort of been home since. I ended up signing up with the Federation, since Bhotho Commodities, the controlling faction, was aligned with them. That, and I wanted to visit Earth as well.
Now that I've been to Sol, I may leave the Federation. I plan on defecting to the Alliance, as their beliefs more or less align with my own.
Then again, after travelling so far from the bubble, all of the drama associated with populated space and power play just seems silly. Perhaps I'll remain neutral, loyal only to my wing, and the system we call home.

HIP 21991 - Great outfitting and ships, Pristine metallic rings for the miners, right next to the High Tech Coriolis Station. Right out on the fringe, fairly quiet don't see to many other in open play. Imperial system, but Federation is 1 jump away for bounty hand in's. More rez sites then you will ever need, and plenty of missions etc. Called this place home for over a year now.
Rasalhague is my primary base. The Ghost Bear in me has had me tied to it since beta. It used to be amazing at outfitting, now it's just pretty good. It's a good location, has several good res sites, I can reach Sol in a few jumps & the alliance in a couple too. Only the missions that take me to the bottom reaches of the empire really strain me, and for that I have a second base at Jotunnheim.

I started in LHS 3447 and followed forum instructions on "get out of there immediately if you're a noob in a sidewinder!" so I did. Ended up at Yakabugia and call Serabrove Station home now. I have two ships so one is always parked there. If I ever sell the "other one" I might make some other place my home. However this seems to be centrally located, not a long journey from the entry point, good facilities, and a really good burger bar on level 25, section C.
