Where to buy TrackIR

Quick bit of help please guys.

Does anyone have a link to a UK site selling the TrackIR kit?

Best price I could find was £146 delivered.

Wow, is that £280 with shipping and duty?

I am definitely getting a Rift...but wanted to wait for Retail

Also, I will only use it games that I know that I can control without having to look at the controls.

Imagine me in Elite having to find a key on the keyboard if I have a Rift on! :D

Nearly all of the TrackIR stuff I've saw is around that price, and to me it's rather a lot when compared to other options available.

Indeed it is. The normal price for the Yanks is $350, but for us Brits it's $450 (or so, it was a while ago when I ordered it). Works out to be about £270 converted.

The button thing is a concern, but with Voice Attack (trust me, get it anyway!) you never have to take you hands off the controls.

OK, think I'll just get the wallet out and get the TrackIR kit...expensive game this...£100 buy in...£170 for an x55 and £146 for TrackIR...

But now...oh now I'll kick some ****...won't I?? lol

RCSimulations seem to be the cheapest and unlike Zoom4u (which I presume you are currently looking at) they actually sell the Pro version (Zoom advertise the Pro version, but if you look are actually only selling the standard kit!) The Pro bundle SHOULD come with the Trackclip and Trackclip Pro.

You may not be bothered by the lack of Trackclip Pro, but a heads up anyway.

Where'd you get the X55 from? Everywhere I look they out of stock.

I was actually looking at RC Sim, they charge for delivery though, so total price is £146

These guys are cheapest I could find but no stock :(

Ordered the kit with the pro clip but I do not see myself using it as I do not play with a headset much.

I'll just use the cap clip.

The link I posted is to Amazon who sell a visor cap for £4.50 inc p&p which works with the cap clip.

That's if your head gets hot like mine does wearing a normal cap.

I ordered mine direct from naturalpoint in the states, after the shipping and duty were added it came in at slightly cheaper than RCsimulation, not by much though.... maybe a fiver or so.
And it would depend on the exchange rate on the day....
