Which system should I vote for?

So my choices are either because of the Supercruise distance or because it's losing?

Ok, that's actually quite a good way to eliminate the other choices

I voted IC 2391 Sector FL-X b1-7

Reasons: it has the shortest supercruise distance, and it has ruins in system. No idea if that helps you.
I have most guardian stuff unlocked, so I'm not really involved though.

Synuefe EN-H d11-96 is looking best candidate IMHO
You can decide - do you want the ship to jump the furthest from the bubble? Or is it really easy to jump 700 Ly

Which Blueprint do you want? If you really want Module than you could use that as a criterion.

Or do you think that old-school Guardian Ruins would be good to have in-system - which again narrows things down.

Others also have decided based on whether Jumponium mats are present (bit weird IMHO, no long jumps needed around there)

Or even you could choose mining locations, there might be Mining CGs to get materials to build stuff - no-one known.

Or you could read the stuff in the thread, rather than start your own personal fiefdom. Though we all know the correct number of threads on a subject is N+1, right ;)

Completely up to you.

An awful lot are choosing based on 'first in list'. They probably shouldn't be voting. IC or EN-H both look good to me, but it's your choice - that's how democracy works!

Your reply is the first to comply with my request. I shall vote for your system

Thank you for explanations. I approached the task knowing nothing and now know something. As a floating voter I was open to persuasion. I will be going for the string of numbers Bigmaec has quoted.

So OP, you better like to start your own thread to waste your time reading all those replys then going into the dedicated thread to do the same? The Thread "Bridging the Gap - Phase One - Candidate Systems" does exactly what you are asking for. It discusses the pro and cons of the systems to vote.

For your laisure here is the link:

It's 30 pages though. In his own thread he got the answer already on page two 😂

Lol, after you said that I checked, and I really am the first answering your questions. This forum is a wonderful place sometimes 😂

A simple task requires a simple question. I often find in RL that people misjudge my intentions too. Not my fault if people see what they want to see.

On the contrary, I didn't want to intoxicate myself with the rampant forum cancer in those threads so decided to ask a simple question.

I stated where my decision making process was at and asked for some simple responses.

There were some light hearted responses which I enjoyed far more than the ones in the other threads and my question was answered.

Thank you for your time. I have now voted and your opportunity to persuade me has now past.

Of course, if you like I could start the exact same thread with one of my charming forum ALTs if you like?

Everybody only looking at what is in the system but not what's around it.
And different people are prioritizing different things when deciding what to vote for. That's why I said he shouldn't vote at all if he doesn't want to do any research. All he ended up doing was give another person a 2nd vote.

Ultimately, I don't really care if someone else gets 2 votes. But still, don't bother voting if you aren't going to form your own opinion based on ALL available information is my opinion on the matter. You aren't going to get all available information in a thread asking other people's advice, you're going to get the information they consider as important when they voted.

For all we know Bigmaec works for Russia and is meddling in the election.

@Faktabulous did an excellent job of summarizing a lot of good criteria though.... I'll give him that.

I grief for the missed opportunity to bring some light-heartedness to the dedicated threads and instead what have I done, I bring my grumpy attitude to your thread. I shall be refined :p

That's the spirit. Now that I have "Played" ED I shall continue my conquest of the Tombkings with my Lizardman army in TW WH2.

I can only handle so much Elite excitement in one night these days.

Can some one with Guardian experience just tell me please.

I'm not that bothered about reading the thread and I'm not wasting my time on another flacid Livestream.

Please state how much experience you have with Guardian blue prints and which system I should vote for.

All this player agency over the future of the Bubble has exhausted my decision making ability.

I can't help you. You need to decide for your self.

For me, it is like deciding which lemon in a box of lemons I like the most. In the end, I decided not to vote.

It's all a matter of your point of view. If you are looking for your best pirate base you might decide different as when you are looking for a research place...
