Which version of ED do you play?

I play the latest PC version of Odyssey via Steam. Related video:

Horizons (non-legacy) via Steam here. Had zero interest in COD in a space suit when it was announced, and still don't. Got burned out on the engineering material grind, so had little interest in the Guardian, legs, or flower aliens because Fdev decided to add MORE engineering grind (engaging gameplay?) in order to play puzzles, run around shooting people, or killing flowers. But, never say never I guess. We'll see...

So a big thanks to Fdev for the real-time Horizons split, AND the new Python. :) (y) I thought the new ship was a newer/better Python, not a FDL replacement, but hey, it's a new ship. I realize that I won't get what I want, ship-wise, this being a MMO with all the balance cr...err...restrictions needed for that. But with the material traders, keeping my self in mats is somewhat tolerable, and I have a new ship to play with. So I'm good for now.

So, with over 5k hours in this since '16, including the long layoff where I almost did the Meet Joe Black thing, and over 10B in credits I'm mostly happy with the new changes/advances. Things were looking a bit dim with the legs announcement and the non-flyable barge you only rent, but I've been pleasantly surprised of late.

Keep at it Fdev. (y)

I play both at least enough to earn my 800ARX each week, often a lot more on my single (Frontier account) copy of the game.

I'm pretty active in Legacy in the bubble maintaining & defending my territory. I've won several squadron awards (mostly for regular combat) even though I'm the only one in the squadron still active in legacy. My carrier gets little use other than for storage so I occasionally have a 'bake sale' and set up purchase orders at max price & then sell orders at min price to help others. I know at least one Cmdr earned enough to purchase their own carrier & another is currently working towards getting theirs.

In live I'm out wandering the galaxy with my carrier in tow. I'm not very active in live, it doesn't perform well on my now aging graphics card but it looks pretty while I mine trit, hunt salad & watch pretty atmospheric sunsets. Exobio is extremely lucrative for ARX, paying out 22ARX for each sale I make to Vista Genomics so I tend to sell each plant individually rather than system by system or page by page. The new ships have motivated me to pitstop in populated space to outfit & engineer them at some point but I have little other motivation to carry on in live. Looking forward to more atmo planets being added & more ships is a win for me too. PP2.0 might motivate me to return to the bubble depending on how it affects the faction types.

Odyssey on PC via Steam since a few days to a week after release. Pre-purchased the day prior to release.

A week or three after the Live/Legacy split, I logged into Legacy moved everything off my carrier (at Matheson Dock) and decommissioned it. Haven't been back since, IIRC...

I have played since the 1st weekend after release. I play Odyssey on PC through FDev, as if it were Horizons basically. I haven't even worked out the keybinds for space legs. It seems weird to play as FP and use a Hotas as a controller. I can't get to my keyboard, comfortably, with the Hotas out, so...

I flit between legacy on Xbox (still my favourite) and odyssey on steam and epic (via GFN). In odyssey I don't really engage with on foot shenanigans, even though I like visiting the shops on my carrier or the stations.

I guess it'd be Legacy but what I am more interested in is the amount of hoops I'd need to jump through to actually play the game again with all their account shenanigans.
