Mine is (obviously) my holo-me, but it took a lot of trail and error to get the lighting and focus right, and also to get him looking like he's looking at you:

I had to start a new account but kept the same avatar.

Mine was my holo-me, until a huge derpitude induced lithobraking accident.
He was rebuilt on the cheap, using various spare parts that were lying around. You can hardly tell the difference!

I've been the ostrich you see on the left for many, many years, going as far back as when it still wasn't one of the first images to pop up by typing "ostrich" on Google...I think I choose it back at the time because it just represents me: ugly as a russian winter, bad tempered, makes strange noises, can't really say if real stupid or pretend to be (odds are all on the first anyway), solves problems by either kicking them really hard or running away, sometimes both. :D

Always many years ago, he gained its current Borg attire: word has it that it was just a quick Photoshop disguise to distinguish himself from the thousand clones roaming around the web, but the real truth lies elsewere.
He was at Wolf 359. He saw things.

I've just updated my name and avatar because Final Fantasy VII was one of the best games I played in the early days. Now there's FFXV coming to PC in March so really looking forward to getting that. I'm now Cloud Strife - which seems a more appropriate name for ED. Just got to see if I can change my account name in ED to reflect this.

I made mine during a long haul to Sag A* with a class 3 fuel scoop and 24Ly jumprange pre-2.1. Scooping, because it's what I spent a long time doing!

Never felt like changing it.
