Never mind rum. Where is the Mead!
Hm, you are right. We need mead and rum.

Rum also has associations with the Royal Navy. As for cocktails, it seems we are denied the pleasure of daiquiris and mojitos. Also why would associations with the slave trade be a problem in a game where you can trade slaves? It has associations with the slave trade. Whiskey, Gin and Brandy, on the other hand, appear to have romantic connotations with the Highlands of Scotland (and men in kilts) ..... women sipping cocktails ..... and men holding large seductive glasses warmly ..... in that order![]()

Just like whiskey you need to drink good rum. Not just the cheapest stuff they sell.

There are really good rums. They are different than good whiskeys - obviously - but they can be equally rich in flavor. Sadly most people only know the cheap industrial rum that is ofte
It doesn't have to be whiskey vs. rum. Be open for new things. You don't have to restrict yourself to just one beverage.
ersYes, that's what I was asking for in my original post. We need a rare good rum.
As a lover of fine vodka myself, I'd like to see a CG where you have to transport Grain - reward some rare vodka...
because it's a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into scoundrels...
No thats Gin
