Who has encountered a cheater using a hack?

My PG has encountered a hacker. We were trying to take a system from another PMF. The system was in a state of war. My buddies and I were in a wing in Open. We encountered a CMMDR from the other PMF fighting for the other side in a CZ. He was in a FdL. There were three of us in the wing: Kait, Annie, and Vette. We continuously pummeled his shields but his shields never went down even by one ring. He practically one shot us. No way he wasn't hacking.

Another cheater popped up in CQC during the weekend. Not quite unkillable, but close. The video is in YouTube. He's been reported.

The funny thing is that the guy couldn't shoot. That's the second cheater I've seen in CQC with the same problem.

It is embarrassing enough to be caught cheating, but it is even worse when you can't even get a few kills. Even so, he depopulated the game mode for a while.

I was laughing, crying, and raging at the same time. :D:eek::cry::mad:

At least in CQC it's fairly easy to tell when a someone uses hacks.

I met 2 cheaters this month. Or maybe the same person under 2 different names. They both used Eagle, had no distributor drain, turned quicker than a fighter, super boost to some silly speeds, buffed shields/hull, perma stealth/heat sink effect.
Yet, they couldn't win matches with all those hacks.

I have a couple times. Shield hacks where no matter how many people were shooting at the cheater, their shield were not affected at all. Its been a while though, was quite a ways back.

I've been caught in my 770 m/s iCourier by a conda... I've also had my shields stripped by a frag FDL at 4km. on both occasions I typed in local that I was recording, and the perpetrators clogged. (I wasn't recording in either case - though will automatically do so if I encounter either CMDR again).

On another occasion there was I'm sure an instancing issue - an opponent was sitting there, taking zero damage. I know this CMDR and I really don't think he would ever cheat. I flagged it up to him, he relogged, and we carried on as normal. so instancing can sometimes look like a hack. a 800 m/s conda tho.. nah. If you suspect hacking, let them know you are recording - and for sure, if it is a hack, they will respond suspiciously.

The conda guy was reported the same day by other CMDRs for other hacks - and was banned for a bit. I didn't report the FDL guy. maybe I should have.
