I have been toying with the idea of buying a Samsung 4K monitor (I have a new R9 280X coming so have considered running Elite at 4k on the new screen).
However, for the £400 the screen will cost I think I would rather view the game on the Rift Consumer. I already play the game on a 32" 1080p TV
... X52 Pro is also being delivered soon. I think it will take a lot of practice to remember where all the buttons are on the joystick before I can get into the rift.
Who else is holding off for the Consumer Rift?
O/T question: Games like SC + Elite seem to have rejuvenated the Joystick market, I expect it will considerably help the Rift chaps too! My local shops don't even stock joysticks any more, they have fallen from fashion. Now trying to buy one online is like trying to find Slaves in Ngaliba
