matchmaker servers do not love me...havent been able to connect for a week (i am not the only one) so that puts me out of contention ...... not that id be that competive anyway...despite getting top 10% quite often i know there a huuuge gap between that level and top 10

I won't be doing and I have to say that I think games promoting what we all know will end up as basically an endurance test amongst their player base isn't particularly responsible.

aren't all cg basically this though? So really it's down to thinking FD shouldn't give anything nice away as a prize to encourage it - which I can understand.

As it's a 3 day CG I guess it won't actually last that long, so hopefully won't damage anyone. Surprised more US players aren't complaining that it's running right through the eclipse - hope no-ones staying indoors to play rather than see something incredible IRL.

It is a total mystery to me why people would care about such things. I do not want planets, systems, stars, ships etc named after me. I don't care about first discoveries either.
