I wish he would have come here. My download was so fast the cops showed up and tried to write me a ticket.
I am from Singapore ... no issue with downloading fast at my end all the way from UK server. Also many america player
are having issue downloading ... wonder why their ISP would throttle traffic from UK. They probably knew the
space game race would be won by the UK, so there must be some conspiracy here ... heehe
By the way the download for my end was so fast, I didn't have time to play another game.
And yeah UPGRADE is misleading ... as if you have to pay more to upgrade, it's an update ...

The estimated download time in the launcher is way off.
Even if you only have a few MBs to download, the launcher/updater says the download will take hours because it can't figure out how many files it actually needs to download, despite spending all this time downloading a manifest each time.
Then it zips through files that you already have, and the update is done within some odd minutes.
It must take extremely advanced technology to calculate remaining amount of data to be downloaded, multiply it by your download speed to come up with a reasonably accurate time, because FD sure haven't managed to implement it.
I've complained twice, but given a non-answer answer.

Maybe you can invent a new checksum hash. You'll be rich!!
Its an UPGRADE it ADDED content as well as updating existing content. UPGRADE took less than 8 seconds for me on my crappy English connection. (60 meg fiber)
