Why am I getting "Fleet Carrier Jump Request Failed"?

I have 90% of tritium fuel in my fuel tank. The target system is 491ly away, so, why am I getting this "Fleet Carrier Jump Request Failed"? No, there is no "No Time Slot" message, just "Fleet Carrier Jump Request Failed".

Are you docked on the carrier? Or are you away from it?

The distance shown on the map when selecting a carrier jump destination is from YOU not from the carrier.

Probably some network weirdness. I'm not an "expert" in this field though, just taking a guess based on previous threads mate. Glad it's working though now.

There is a 5m (AFAIK ?) timer after jumping to "cool down" the FSD. You will get this error if you try to plot during that time.

Also, you get a similar cool down if you cancel a jump before it's complete. Not sure for how long.


You can see this timer somewhere in the travel panel of your FC.

Thargoid war systems also result to this message. Try plotting a route to different system and see if that helps.

In other threads a failure to jump has been reported (not a valid destination, or words to that effect). Click back to the gal map and try again, and it should work.
