Why are fleet carriers so absurdly filthy? Does none of that weekly upkeep go towards paying janitorial staff?

Kk I'm not one for destructive carriers sod that!
But!
Don't clean em
Don't annual service em
Things start to go wrong..jump times go up. Fsd fails to kick in and is offline for 24 hours for repairs.
Pads on top out of service.
Lights not working. (Not all)
Smoke coming from vents due to inefficient maintenance.
List is endless!
Now out in the black an option for calling a service team from brewer Corp to give her the once over has to be an option albeit expensive!
Just a thought.

Tbh i would love an option to customise the carrier in a very modular way compared to now.

Ie, as per the OP spend credits on keeping a tidy ship or ignoring that and leaving it rugged.

Install modules in set slots where you decide what is installed where, akin to homeworld etc.

I realise that it will take some work, but being able to see your ships in a hangar on the carrier...

Anytime you dock on your carrier you can hear voice comms stating some pipe broke or something's wrong somewhere on the ship. Oddly once I disembark everyone is just sitting around in the bar area. Bums the lot of them.

Thats what Political Prisoners, Slaves and Imperial Slaves are for.
Always keep 5-10 of each on board and your FC stays squeeky clean.
I keep the Political Prisoners in the Gimp Room at the rear of my FC, For reasons ....

Take a look on your Fleet Carrier, then you will have an answer, won't you?
That's the problem, they've previously stated they quit playing long ago. No idea what's going on now, other than articles. Still complaining regardless.

Me, I don't care about the looks. If it doesn't affect functionality, it doesn't matter. I suppose that's why modern games don't interest me. Too much eye candy, not enough content.
