Why are Protesters Allowed in the Zoo

If the protesters are worried about the animal welfare so much then they should make a hefty donation

I often give money to organisations who are doing things I disagree with.

You mean they should be hovering outside the entrance of your zoo preventing guests from coming in?

That would be a really cool mechanic. Instead of enter the zoo, protesters are right on the door, and although they don’t psychically stop people from entering, they make a good chunk of guest turn away thinking “I didn’t know this zoo didn’t take care of x! I don’t want to visit it anymore”.

It would be exactly like real zoos (at least on my country), were protesters stay on the door trying to convince people to not enter the zoo (although unfortunately this people is always there no matter what the zoo does, the protesters in the game would be more reasonable). I will be a cool added challenge for a hard mode or something.

That would also fix protesters that come for some reason, but take so long to actually get to the enclosure that everything is fine when they start protesting.
