Why are there no police in Resource Extraction sites?

I suck at this game and usually only play solo. When I went to Resource Extraction sites [HIGH] There used to be a police presense. But about 3+ weeks ago I noticed that they had all stopped showing up.

I don't see any [HIGH] Resource Extraction Sites anymore. They are now called [HAZARDOUS] and there are no cops. I went to several other systems and it it was all the same...

What happened to the [HIGH] Resource Extraction sites and where did all the Cops go?

A lot of "I Shot the Sheriff" complainins lately...they are temporary removed for an investigation.

Every other update FD changes the RES sites. In Pikum is one High at Pikum 4 (I think it is 4) Near Feoktistov Platform and there were system security guys (at least 3 days ago).

Are any of these replies serious? Have they been taken out of the game because their bugged or something? Or is it that each update changes where they are?

Ok, the serious reply is among those. RES (and all other semi-permanent zones) can change with basically every tick of the background simulation (BGS), i.e. every day.

3+ weeks ago? no. I was almost exclusively hunting in RES HIGH sites just a couple days ago for engineer mats and kill creds. RES HAZ won't have law, it's pretty....lawless. RES LOW will.....well, I guess it is a great place to take a nap or something. Or god forbid, mine a little. Either way, I see cops in HIGH and LOW, and never expect them in HAZ. But again, just a couple days ago I was all up in the RES HIGH with cops, killing pirates and farming mats.

The RES sites can change with system changes (the tick) that happens everyday. There are also generally changes whenever an update happens.
On RES sites: They come in 4 flavours LOW, (medium), HIGH and HAZardous. The first 3 have a security presence, the last doesn't. So if you are in a HAZ RES you will not get any help from the cops.
You will need to find a new hunting ground if you want help.

I have only been playing in Solo and have not see any cops or any Green symbols on my Radar in several weeks. So, I just tried Open play, and I did see some Green Federal Navy ships at a checkpoint and at the port I always use. But there were none at the Hazerdous RES site(as you said). But in solo play I have not see any green on my radar in weeks.

I had been joining in on the cops attacking Wanted and finally making some money. I only have a Cobra and cannot attack anything 1v1 or even 1v3 until they get beat up a bit. Then I would join in and not get killed. I have been getting better and can survive in the Haz RES but I made money quicker when there were always cops ganging up and kicking .

New or Old, there's always things we don't understand. There's not a requirement to be new to ask a question there.
I've not been paying attention to RES sites recently so can't say if all the High RESs have disappeared or not.

Edit: 36 Ursae Majoris currently has LOW, HIGH & HAZ RESs so HIGHs are still in the game.

Keep in mind, you may not see them as green unless you have a certain level of positive standing with the faction. I usually see greens, but just yesterday I was in a system I had not operated in before and everyone was orange to start out.

RES are not the only thing that does this. CZ's can too. I was in a High Intensity CZ the other night with a wing, cleaning house. We left to turn in our Bonds, resupply our ammo and when we came back - no more High CZ, just three Low CZ's. Next tick cycle, High CZ is back.
