I feel like the exclusion zone for the white dwarfs are way too big. Too big that the lines remain invisible. Neutron stars are so small that they're invisible. I know the invisible lines have been a problem for so long. FDev pls fix this.
Well, all I can say is that I can't tell you where that point is...twice.Half of the fun with WD stars is finding the point where the FSD can be supercharged rather than the ship being cooked![]()
Many of us have raised this issue over the years and there's never been a modification or even an answer.I feel like the exclusion zone for the white dwarfs are way too big. I can go along with that - it agrees with my own observations and experienceI always thought that the neutron star exclusion zones were actually larger but the jet cones went out so much farther from the gravity well since the neutron stars are so much more energetic. But I've never done anything to check that, so it may just be headcanon that I made up.
Good man!Yeh, it's DA stars I've seen. Might be a matter of monitor variances but I can see very faint blue haze at the very end and aim for that. But never see the exclusion zone except at the very start.
If I do get caught I'll admit it though![]()
Do you remember the system? Not to try to "outdo" you, just for science so I can see if it's different.Good man!
I was sent to the rebuy screen twice, by the same WD, in the same game session... It was about a month after I started playing and had never boosted... 3rd time was lucky!
Only twice since then have I messed up and lost my ship, both within a few jumps of my Colonia base so no major loss of data... But, dangers aside, go out and enjoy the variety of WD's (and NS) and have a lot of fun playing chicken![]()
In the bubble while I was a 'n00b' it was one of the D class ones close to Enayex...Do you remember the system? Not to try to "outdo" you, just for science so I can see if it's different.
