Why Auto Field-Maintenance Unit cannot Repair POWER PLANT ?

I have a ship with Auto Field-Maintenance : i decide to try this

The point is i can repair every thing in my ship except : The Power Plant ? Why ? I do not understand.

PS : (By the way the Auto Field-Maintenance cannot repair itself, but it's fair and logic).

Maybe, it needs the power plant to run it?

Have you tried the reboot/repair function in the right side MFD? It should be down towards the bottom near the self destruct toggle.

Power plant is a highly Advanced machinery that cant be fixed during travel and when Power plant Reach 0% , ship go khablaam its made like this deliberatly

Interesting... I haven't had a reason to use it yet, so didn't know it would do that. I wonder if it suffers from that same limitation?

That is because the system to be repaired needs to be a 0% and if your power plant is at 0%, well you don't be in a position to be rebooting
