I got caught by a bug that meant I never got the 100 daily conservation credits so I've never had more than 200 at any one time.
Most of my purchases have been under 50 and I barely able to sell the resulting animals for more than 10, most of the time less than 5 as they're the easy animals.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Just out of curiosity, what is the reward for releasing a lion? Just managed to buy a pair last night. Had two cubs so far and just released one, but when I claimed the reward, I got an error instead of a reward. Lol. I got the CC for releasing the lion, but not the campaign reward. I know it doesn't really matter, but it's the whole curiosity + cats thing you know?

depending on the quality of the lion I've been getting anywhere from 200-800 cc per lion
Makes me wish my old zoo hadn't corrupted. I had so many lions I could have sold a bunch for barrel bottom prices and recomp the "loss" by releasing my overpopulated lemurs and peafowl. But nooooooooo it had to go and be a brat and get all corrupted and crap.
