Engineers Why can we only pin ONE blueprint?

Indeed, it's silly.

Same goes for commodity prices for stations you have visited. Don't need an up to date list, just the snapshot of the prices when you last visited.

Commodity prices are understandable since they can change very fast.

The engineer blueprints should be accessible IMO from the engineers tab all the time! They never change and without being able to see blueprints there, this tab is utterly useless. I've never used it. Instead i have a second screen with Inara for the blueprints :|

Go to INARA; alt-tabbing is honestly not that difficult. All the blueprints are there. And if you sign up, you can see how many times you can engineer them.

It's times like this I'm glad I have multiple screens...

XB1 and PS4 can't Alt-Tab. In fact, opening the Edge browser on XB1 could cause the game to disconnect. So, yes, I want all blueprints I'm aware of (ie, unlocked RGNineers) to be viewable and pin-able from my ship no matter where I am, especially if a pinned bp does give a higher chance of the mats dropping. Why do I need to go visit the anti-social weirdos to pin a different bp just to get the mats to drop more? I don't see any game-play in that. I only see a time-gate, in the way of jumps and SC travel.

No I can't. The game gets in the way, and I'd sorta like to be able to go one session and keep it there the entire time.

did you not read my 2 post about how INARA being as Trash as ED? lol .. you can get 3rd party apps that can run in game..... ignore this INARA .

https://github.com/msarilar/EDEngineer

you just need to set the BPs you want and a AI talks to you when you have the Mats .

Those aren't options for everyone and not in-game. Just saying. [heart]

EDIT:
To quote from your link's "Features":
based on logs outputted by the game

XB1 doesn't allow apps to be installed, so how would this app differ for me from Inara where I have to manually enter my cargo, mats, & data? Naw, but thanks. I may use it if/when I become a part of the master race again. ;)

I use inara.cz on the engineers bit it gives you what you need for everything... including what the engineers need to be see and used

I don't bother pinning

You're telling me our ships can jump several light years but can't store more than a few lines of text? Seriously, you shouldn't need to fly to the engineer to see the materials required for their blueperints, let alone the blueprints they have! We should be able to access that information from the engineers tab. In fact, now that I think about it, this game could use an in-game "elite-pedia", like Kerbal Space Program [blah]

Limited galactic map bookmarks.

Limits on materials storage.

No planet waypoint bookmarks or location system for co-ordinates.

No market data stored in ships computer.

No in-game listings of first Discoveries/system data collected.

The list goes on.

Hey, we've only just reaquired the ancient knowledge of how to make a GPS bookmark locations..........one thing at a time, M'kay? I mean we don't want to cause a technology singularity or something do we? :p

When the only sort of challenge a game offers, is to challenge your tolerance for intentionally being inconvenienced at every turn, you have some serious design issues.
