Methane is odourless, the other components give flatulence the trademark smell.
Methane makes farts flammable, not smelly!

Yup, predominately but sometimes you may get a liquid if your not careful. I believe the technical term is a “shart”
Sharts are both warm, and moist. It's a good indicator.
Because Sulphur Dioxide is acidic?
Even if there were some water present to turn it into sufuric acid, the atmosphere of this world is so rarified that I can't imagine it being an issue for any pressure suit.

I think the comment about volcanic worlds not being implemented properly is the best "real" reason (note also that that I didn't actually ask about disembarking but was talking about just landing, meaning I can't even touch down my ship much less launch an SRV and even more less disembark.
