Why can't money carry over to a new Franchise?

Curious as to why only your CC and animals in the trade centre cross over to your new franchise zoo but not your money?

Probably to give the illusion that it's getting local funding? I have this weird head canon that the CCs is your franchise funding while cash is local funding, so it's 2 separate things...


But in reality, probably so that each zoo doesn't start off with more advantages than need be

You can buy a bunch of expensive animals in a bigger franchise and sell them from the animal trade center in a new zoo to increase your starting cash a bit.
