I've built a big Climbing Structure for the Orangutans in my new Zoo but for some Reason they can't go down on the Platforms and Islands I've created for them. Does anyone know how I could solve it? I've also placed a Bonobo in there to test it and she can reach everything except one Platform.

It helps sometimes when climbing structure is not sunken into the ground, but on or a little bit above ground.
Is this a node on the second picture? They are not climbable and can block climbing. I removed them from my zoo.

Yes, but I will keep only either this or the Log, so it will most likely be deleted.
Thanks for the Tip. I will try if it helps to move the Logs a bit up
I've tried it but sadly it didn't help. I've also tried if it helps to place a small Platform under the Log but this also didn't work. The Orangutan could climb down but he wouldn't be able to leave the Platform
Edit: just deleted the Ocean and found out that 2 of the Platforms are a bit too close to the Water, so I will raise them a bit. But I still need to find out how to fix the Rest

Maybe it's a problem with the orang utan's hitbox being to close to the water, because the platforms are just above the water. The Bonobo should have a slightly smaller hitbox. You could test this theory by raising everything by 1m.

Ok, that's weird. At least one of the other Ape Species can use them (Bonobos can use them but I'm not sure about the other Apes)
I really hope they will fix it. But because some of the Platforms are shown as climbable, the Rest should also be shown as climbable, so I need to find out what's the Problem.
Is there a Issue Tracker Report about the Problem that Orangutans can't use the Ropes?
Sadly it didn't help. Also the Problem was also present for the Orangutan Jungle Home before I've placed all the Plants beneath it and if that would've been the Reason it should've shown as walkable Area after deleting the Water. Maybe it is really because of the Rope Problem because everything that now needs to be fixed isn't Climbing Equipment but Rocks and normal wooden Floor
Making a Log Structure that leads to the Jungle Home didn't help. I really hope I will find out what's the Problem and that the Rope Problem will be fixed
I can confirm that ropes do not work with gorillas as well, even though they also appear as climable. I had a tough time making usable climbing structures for both orangutans and gorillas, only animals I've had issues with. I think it might have something to do with hitboxes but cant confirm that's the case. I also havent made a ticket in the issue tracker, I did have a thread awhile back though (or maybe I responded to a thread? Cant remember). I've seen a lot of people have issues with climbing from two updates ago, I built my habitats after that so cant confirm the update impacted it at all. Might be worth starting a ticket though
Ok, I will start a Ticket. I hope it will get more Attention than the one about the Problem that Llamas can't jump
