I love word combos with names...Miss Tayke, Justin Hale, Ben Dover that sorta thing...been a while since I heard one I aint heard before, all the names used are names that Ive seen before ^

We named of player faction, The Terran Trade Authority as were all fans of the books and especially the artwork. In game, around Arjung :)

Option 1: I came to the forum after starting the game via Steam so in game I have that profile; however Slaine is not available (or is already taken?)...
Option 2: My second choice was Nemesis (so I could pilot a Blitzkrieg) ... but again, not available.

So I revert to option 3 and post here under the original name of my ship NorrinRadd (AKA the Silver Surfer) and am now in the process of renaming my ships after military installations; okay, potential military installations; oh, alright then, trees.


The weird bit are the violent bouts of deja vue I'm experiencing.

I stole the name Amalthea from TLU, but Amalthea is a little too fantasy for SciFi.

So for SciFi, I adopted Alonya as the heroine's name. Rusland I just added after yanking it from fantasy name generator.

ThudPucker was given to me though my ancestral line however there was a division with the Thudpucker side of the family of whom we do not speak.

The reason for this falling out has been lost to time. Some say it all started with a six pack and a duck. Others believe it was when 60s folk singer Jimmy Thudpucker went electric.

I like to think both are true.

It started from character in Mass Effect 2, npc criminal lord called captain Wasea. I picked up her name for my EVE character and misspelled it with V. Azure and cpatain was added so name wont be short. Decided to keep it for my ED commander as well as my forum name.

I generally use that if “Stephen” is taken. So I am really Stephen McA.

I picked my commander name carefully. I had never played any networked game before I backed ED. So I picked “Justin Joying-McSelf” hoping the bad boys would let me be.

After Beta, open came as a learning experience. :eek:
