Why do I have to rescan Maia every time I visit?

Question as in title.

I don't visit Maia very often, but every time I do, the scanned status resets. And this goes back years at this point, even before the FSS.

I go, scan the system or get the Nav beacon data and reveal all the bodies, do what I need to do.

Months down the line I make another visit, and everything is Unexplored again.

I have visited Maia's black hole three times. I've definitely scanned it with the FSS as well, because I noticed in the early days of the FSS that Maia's black hole would be very difficult to scan due to it moving across the zoomed view.

I know I don't have to scan the system, I can get on just fine leaving all the bodies listed Unexplored but... I've scanned this system so. many. times.

Then i have no idea... Personally i'm not bothered by it, or i just didn't noticed.

I have had to scan Merope many times in the days of the old ads/dss. Never noticed it with any other system.

Sometimes the system was blank, sometimes missing individual bodies, sometimes it was just DSS scans missing.

Well that explains a lot.

I went to Merope a few days ago and had to scan the system because it was completely blank. I thought to myself "Weird, I haven't been here before? I'm pretty sure I have been here before..."

I'm glad that I'm not losing my mind.
