I havent played these games as much as others due to a previously slow computer, but I upgraded and discovered the same issue I had with PC1, and probably planet zoo as well.
When placing blueprints, you dont have any sort of snap point to determine what should be ground level. So this always requires attempting to align based on some placard a creator placed, or plopping and constantly having to undo and trying again just to get the blueprints at the proper height. Slightly off and the buildings wont connect properly.
This is such an obvious solution, I dont know why after 3 games you all havent figured it out.
Create a "set ground level" button in all rides and attractions. Then the player can select a prop, or the ride or building they want as their reference point, and all future placements will align based on that defined object in relation to the ground.
I also noticed on one users creation, that they had an internal facility that ended up lower than the rest of the structures which screwed up the entire placement due to this lack of defined ground level. And attempting to fix it was a pain in the butt.
As again, there was no base reference plane and the building kept wanting to snap to a lower height.
This has been one of the most annoying aspects of all your games. Please fix it.
And while you are at it, provide a flatten terrain function also for flat rides if not already available.
A player should be able to delete a ride and place it back in the exact same place with some known snapping element. (tried this when no one would ride my coaster, and trying to realign it to the proper location was basically impossible -- and didnt fix the problem.
