Hate is such a strong word. There is room for improvement as this is an evolving online experience, but you didn't have the option of "I don't - I'm really enjoying it!".

Not hating it one bit. Do wish for more features/content though. Hopefully that is coming so im not "alarmed" yet. Hoping for more diversity in stations (hoped to see different one in SOL and the different factions, but they are the same so far sadly), hope to see "Wings" and grouping/sharing missions etc, and a better system for making us understand whats going on around us regarding brewing wars and other events other than seeing monochrome text in the GalNet news. Maybe some portraits for leaders and news bits that downloads into the ship with vital news in the current system you are in and nearby systems (news that are vital to your location/faction). A little generic voice acted lines for cops/pirates/combat, you know those short lines like "Thank you for your cooperation commander" after you been scanned by the cops for example. Im not holding my breath for this last one, but the the rest im hoping to show up. :)

These overflowing emotions (love, hate, etc.) are not really helpful to be constructive.
Maybe pharmaneutical companies could put some effort to create a pill which takes this all away. And then we could talk :)

You forgot the "I dont hate El Dangeroso at all, in fact, having this much fun feels like it should be illegal or something" option...

This thread will inevitably get locked.

If people hate the game, then they shouldn't be on the forums spreading their hate and trying to force their hate onto others who are enjoying the game.

If other peoples opinions effect your enjoyment of the game perhaps you shouldn't be on the forums? much like if you don't like right wing propaganda you don't watch fox news.

I hate this game because there is no escaping the rats. I spent days exploring far beyond settled space and it took me a few days to get there. Now one would think that since there are no settled planets there would be no traders, since there are no traders there should be no pirates. After all what money is there to be made for a pirate in empty space. But pirates there are and they killed me. I lost I don't know how much in data from the exploration plus insurance cost. So i started over in on the very edge of settled space in an anarchy governed station (i.e. pirate base). I explored that system but had to avoid an interdiction to do it. I went a few more systems on my way to a station closer to settled space where I planned to become a bounty hunter since this game is apparently really about fighting and no so much a space simulator. But when I get to my target system I get jumped two more times. I get away from the first one but the second one jumps me moments before I reach the base I'm headed for. No made this is a conflict zone but the galaxy map says nothing about that and by the time you get to the system its to late, your interdicted.
I also don't know how they decide what your going to be interdicted by. I'm rated as "harmless" combat wise but the ships that jump me often outclass me. That's great if they are trying to kill off players not so much if they want their non-combat orient players to enjoy themselves. And just to add a little salt to the wound when I do manage to kill a rat I get nothing for it since I didn't scan him for a bounty first. But why would I spend the money on a bounty scanner, but of course this is all about space combat, not having fun exploring space. They only pretend that to give you a choice of career tracks.

there's some strange people about....it's a game, not heroin...pack it in and do something else if it is not your thing.

A game cannot be all things to all people, there's a whole world of stuff out there.

Why bump this old topic?
Especially for this, where you are complaining about being interdicted in pirate space...

There are so many empty star systems that you can go to, to explore. If you don't want to be interdicted, get away from populated space... that should be rule 101 when actually exploring.

So you "hate" (actually hate, as in pure disgust and dislike to a point of no remorse) this game, because you don't like being interdicted... epic.

On Topic: If there is one thing that I "hate" about this game, it's the ridiculous minority of people, populating the forums with so much drivel about how the game is going to fail, how bad it is, how they hate the game, whine whine whine whine... constantly, even when they no longer play, they still find time to come to the forums to insult people who like the game, calling them "fanboys" and "white knights" and probably some other childish way of trying to enforce their view without discussing it in a mature manner... That's the only thing I hate about the game. Just the ability to let these people bash constantly on the forums with no attempt to listen to feedback on their views.

If the forums linked the account to the actual player account for the game, we would see a lot less trolling, a lot less flaming and a lot less nay-saying.
