Why does the game randomly generate names that then proceed to fail the profanity filter?

What the title says. I have, on too many occasions to count, gone to sell an animal that is named whatever the game itself has randomly generated for said species, and then failed the profanity filter. When I go and rename the animal to something that I know won't cause an issue it still won't allow me to try and sell the animal at all unless I back out to the main menu or completely quit.
