At least for me it is definitively not "all the time". But I agree, that happens with outposts (planetary and orbital).I've never been denied docking at a large orbital station due to lack of available pads. Happens all the time at planetary ports though...
After several years of use, I discovered only the other day that my X52 Pro throttle has a built-in stop watch function.Dont become convinced. Measure.
Take a stop watch. Look for two systems with orbitals and planetary settlements around the same planet.
As a 70+ year old man I would recommend the X52 Pro. Some have had reliability issues with it, but mine is at least 5 years old and has had zero problems.I am thinking about throttle controller, or keyboard with macro keys. My usual "F2"+F+F to get preferred super-cruise speed (a bit less then 75%) is not optimal.
But I am not sure how precise it will be, I mean can I adopt to use it. I was always using very cheap joystick to drive on planets (the only way I could adopt to drive at all), and it is definitively not the device I want use in flight. X52 is quite expensive to buy just to find out it is useless for me. Would you recommend it for (relatively) old man?![]()
