Some dude joins the forum a week after she's been removed from the game to find a lot of old men posting on here, some times in extremely serious tones about an issue, with her as their avatar. He'd run a mile. It'd look like the site needed to be on a register somewhere.
I attacked several people pledged to Aisling, around Lave during the CG

If their lives are so sad, why take enough interest in them to call them losers. What does calling other people names achieve other than self-validation.

It's probably due to a mid-life crisis induced nostalgia for teenage fantasies, in a demographic that's over-represented in the player base.
(Of course, the other half of the player base have all had their Covid-19 jabs by now).
