Why is Aisling Duval so popular?

I unpledged as soon as I had bought all the prismatics I needed. I haven't pledged to anyone else since but might if I see another module worth getting. So I guess for me it has nothing to do with her avatar, just the rewards she gives out.

It's a bit sad - Middle aged men fancying a drawing.

Everyone knows that Anime is just Japanese cartoon pron for weirdo's & losers with body pillows and no boy/girlfriend.
You wouldn't watch it with your partner if they were a real human so take you're hand out of you're y-fronts, move out of your parents spare room / get over being divorced and get a life.
Studying the blade, wearing trenchcoats and masturbating aren't proper life goals and neither is playing about with my little ponies or dressing as a cartoon dog, pikachu or whatever.

Nice prismatics, though. :D

"No thank you, I don't want to be part of your secks festival"

Reading some of the recent Galnet threads is somewhat like this:

Galnet: There's a galactic summit, everyone is attending!

Commanders: What's Aisling wearing?!?!?

So why is the media princess so popular? Is it because of her anti-slavery stance? The tragic story of what happened to her mother? Her imperial upbringing? Those awesome Prismatic shields you get after 4 weeks of loyal service?

Or is it just down to her being 'hawt' ?
Why do the tabloids follow the royals?

If their lives are so sad, why take enough interest in them to call them losers. What does calling other people names achieve other than self-validation.

Maybe that kind of life is exactly what they want. Why would they do as somebody else wishes.

And why are you deciding what a proper life goal is, let alone for somebody else, or assume it needs to exist in one's life at all.

Is that really a Question? Humanity did not change over night and so most of us are still heavily influenced by our dangly bits that render most of us prone to appearances. A fact i hate to be Honest.

It's probably due to a mid-life crisis induced nostalgia for teenage fantasies, in a demographic that's over-represented in the player base.

(Of course, the other half of the player base have all had their Covid-19 jabs by now).
