I think they sell dashboard polish in the Shipyard for like... 4 credits? You'll need to buy many 113 gram cans because the manufacturer is cheap and doesn't want to shell out the money to produce a 200 and 300 gram cans. Also go with the apple scent. The lemon is caustic and the Cherry... Well let's just say I'm still dealing with the Insurance Company about my Adder.

Need to fix the wireing in the roof too.
Doesn't look safe someone might get electrocuted. No wonder the side chairs are unoccupied.

That screenshot looks like you run the game on a Commodore 64 :/
It's on max with 1.5SMAA
I turned GemFX off for this screenshot though to see if it was just GemFX making it show up worse

Pressing play on tape cleans the ship up. After the colorful lines are gone of course.
wait what do you mean?

EDIT: oh wait that was a joke

it might just be me but this shot looks even dirtier

Funny you say that, but I ran my 1st business with a Commodore 64 and the 1st works package. Had it for years, it was more than enough for what I needed it for. Strange really, now the PCs are over a thousand time more powerful and with probably over a million times more memory and yet still take just as long to to sort and print out mail shots etc.

To the OP, you have the title wrong. It is not 'the Anaconda', it should be' 'My Anaconda.'

I don't have any problem with the Anacondas bridge per se, but I still don't get why FD don't release cockpit skins. I bought a couple of ship skins, but I'd spend way more on something I see all the time than on something others see from time to time.

I'd easily spend 5-10 £ on a black piano lacquer interior for a Courier or a leather/mahogany interior for my Anaconda - seems to be more effort than I think it is, apparently.

I would certainly buy cockpit skins.
I can understand though that it is no big priority.
I personally would like them to commit the resources to other stuff first, like creating assets to enrich the universe, introduce more variation.

Perhaps one day...

Well - making money doesn't seem to be their lowest priority, however I understand that it makes more sense to widen the market before milking it. Neither helps making the game deeper, which is apparently their lowest priority atm.

"CQC ARENA MATCHES!!!!11!!ONEONE" gets more clicks on facebook/reddit/YouTube than "the background simulation - whilst still broken - was improved a little and we introduced large missiles."

But I think I've derailed the thread enough already, so please ignore.

Yeah, mine looks like some slob of an explorer spent thirty lonely years of munching nachos and beer whilst watching endless space soaps and madly scanning systems.

Not what I paid for.

But I reckon cockpit skins might be a lot of work. Or future work, anyway, as no doubt when I can walk through my anaconda I'll want more than just the cockpit to be wooded out.

omg, yes, that would be glorious. I would pay for this.

... and bubbleheads, please.

but sadly in reality FD sells what we can't see, illusions, we could see cockpit upgrades so probably not gonna happen.

Oh, yes!
and 90's style carbon fiber for the Python! I would really pay for it...

I made an awful mockup of piano black instead of the leather
