Why no 3rd person?

You answered your question. 3rd Person breaks immersion. We don't have invisible drones with cameras flying behind us in real life. It also gives unfair advantages over first person.

They should add it. Especially as they are selling paint jobs on their store. They could shift a few more, I'm sure, if they added a good 3rd person view. Make it for non-combat use only. As for the hallowed 'immersion'. Don't use it then.
