Why no colonisation market data on INARA?

I thought commodity market data used to be on INARA for my system but isn’t now for sure. I’ve visited my markets and inspected more than just biowaste, but even searching on INARA for that, it suggests I should travel further for my purchases.

Is this another known issue? It’s not helping my economy.

Are you uploading data to inara? Are you running EDMC?
Inara doesn't get its market data directly from fdev, its gotten from players.

Also, do double check your filters, the market may not have large enough landing pads or supply to be in your filters.

Most players that use tools to udpate markets are building with the updates disabled to protect their supply. They know what they have it's not in their interests for you to know. The markets do update on Inara if people upload them but very few people are doing so.

Only using and updating commander overview to INARA, this includes journal and fleet carrier. It’s not the filters on my search. Have I disabled a marker update filter on INARA …..is there one? Is it working for others if so I’m doing something wrong.

Looks fine to me in terms of the data itself for the orbital

No market data for the surface port yet.

My Orbis has market data uploaded to Inara but the 2 outposts I made won't get their market data uploaded for whatever reason. It's really weird. One of the outposts has been online for almost a month at this point. Yes I've been importing my data to Inara.

If you are running reporting software - EDD or EDMC, try buying and selling 1t of any item.

I'm seeing the occasional instance where construction sites' supply is being listed in Inara. Went to go pick up some insulating membranes, but was disappointed to see the place wasn't even built.

Just for the information - importing the commander data on Inara is not enough for updating the station's market. As there is no market information directly in the journal, tools like EDMC or EDDiscovery are needed to be run alongside the game and those will send the market data to EDDN, which is then used by other 3rd party sites and tools (like Inara). So if you haven't been running any tool like this, then that's why the markets weren't updated. :)

Running EDMC my stations and the surrounding systems have been regularly updating in INARA for the last couple weeks.

I noticed there was an EDMC update this morning.

One thing someone suggested yesterday: you need to open the commodity market in order to get the data that EDMC, etc., sends to EDDN. If you don't view the market, there's no data to send. (I haven't tested this myself.)

This varies depending on how your third-party program is set up (some will make a CAPI call to get the market when you dock, if you've configured that), but opening the market is generally more reliable as CAPI is optional and not always completely consistent.
