Why Small Seismic Charges are the community's most demanded module and SSCs will solve all ED's problems

How is this going to help me grind my Combat rank to Dangerous? I mean, unlocking that Engineer is my current problem.

Come on Chrystoph, use your loaf. Obviously it will help. They're small seismic charges!

Are they? I don't remember demanding small seismic charge modules ... but thanks for the reminder that I did! :D
You're welcome but you are now in my dept

i fail to see how this resolves the broken powerplay mechanic and fails to address the point of having hundreds of billions of star systems where you can't do anything in them because the game doesn't have working dynamic population expansion into unpopulated systems. Also, jumping in my carrier means i look at a wall the entire time.

Elite dangerous: Broken.

mayhaps you need to drink soda thoughtfully. Beer is giving you tunnel vision.

Boo! Get your negativity out of my echo chamber 😋

Stop lowering the tone with your sad faced unhappiness. It's not wanted and it's not big or clever sonny jimlad.

The tone needed lowering. Seismic charges dont fix elite.

and speaking of seismic charges being made small so ships with small hardpoints can equip them (or use their larger ones for other things), how would this mix with the existence of the larger ones?

Would small seismic charges require 4+ set charges to crack a roid compared to around 2 for the larger ones? Would they yield less goodies compared to their bigger brothers? Would they simply fail to crack any roids and instead, just behave more like subsurface blasters but break out whatever commodity the core was ?

it certainly wouldn't make sense to have them behave the same as the larger ones.

edit: also, how does having them on mostly small ships that can't really hold cargo explain the "why" that makes this thread something that shouldn't just live in the suggestion forum where ideas go to die? What about small ships being able to crack 1 roid before having to go deliver their loot makes for needed gameplay? Almost seems like the only ship targetted by this suggestion is really the dolphin. Which isn't a mining ship.

Because of the previous crusade to "fix" the so called heat bug that supposedly affected the Dolphin, now we have a fire proof Dolphin (mine is named Hellboy)

I would not mind small seismic charged, tho
But they will need ammo to be useful

For example:

Medium SSD launchers have 96 ammo
Small SSD launchers have 32 ammo

Medium DeepCharge laucher have 72 ammo
Small ones would probably have 24 ammo.

probably it is obvious to everyone here and everyone playing the game, but i think you should spell out how literally small ssd with solve all problems in and of ED (and potentially frontiers, the pc games industry, and on a inspiring level, the worlds'?). so the community magaers have a solid list to present.
