Why the animals aren't the stars of the game - and what needs to be done about it

I feel like I probably said this at a much earlier time point but I would really love for them to implement some sort of basic "personality" features. Having certain animals drawn to specific enrichment items, sections of a habitat, etc. would be a pretty simple way to get each animal to be a bit more "unique." Might not be feasible with the current coding but would be nice to see at some point (via update or as part of a sequel years from now).

Example: You have three giant otters. One loves to nap on rocks (as opposed to bedding). Another plays with the rubber ducky 75% more than any other enrichment item; removing it will make them sad. Another has no specific interest in one enrichment item over another but really loves playing in front of guests.

I can't speak to whether this might be feasible or not but... After spending yet more time with the game, it feels like this could present a nice balance between demanding too much of the game and giving them some unique behaviors. Maybe giving each animal a "Unique trait" box or something where they each can have 1-3 additional traits (at random) that could present.

Might be an interesting new challenge in terms of keeping animals happy too! You'd want to have this one able to be turned off in Sandbox, of course. Hah.

EDIT: Just realized somebody else had a similar idea above. Great minds think alike or something?
