The only large-scale difference the USA has made to English prevalence world-wide is the prevalence of Hollywood movies and cookie-cutter TV shows.

the problem is people getting detached and feeling disenfranchised by the status quo. most likely for a reason, so i see no easy fix for that.

You should never give tea to foreigners... especially not Americans.
