Been reading threads here about this and that tonight and I had a brain flash.
Why the hell am I rank grinding like a damn maniac? Been doing it 3-4 weeks now.
What I mean is its a huge pain (though good paying) but tedious and if I decide to see it all the way thru I have weeks to go. Currently at Viscount (just) as I figure the Cutter suits my playstyle better then a Corvette. But...
For my "big haulers" I currently have a TradaConda and a Type 9. And the thing is I really like these ships. Like their looks, how they fly, and how they perform at their assigned tasks. Like the ambiance. Everything about them. Have and use both as I can't bear to sell either one. Weird loyalty/like thing I reckon.
At this point in time I now am starting to wonder if the rank grind for me is kind of like climbing Mt. Everest - in that I am doing it "just because it's there." And the Cutter/Corvette is like the forbidden fruit.
If you are a true Anaconda and T9 fan (as in liking just about everything about them) do you regret all the grinding for a Cutter? Guess I can't see it replacing those two (which just kinda hit me) is the whole point of grinding for one! And I get it hauls more cargo but max load isn't everything. Any regrets from Conda/T9 true-believers in getting a Cutter??
