Why the name Elite - Dangerous

Maybe after we've spent a little time in the new Elite universe we'll find out why the game is called Elite: Dangerous. Until then, we can only assume. ;)

(I give up .. all the characters above should be in caps but this stupid browser / forum keeps changing it to lower case )

So, I've just ordered the last two sequel games from Ebay.

I won a copy of Elite - Frontier - Two in a auction early last week and I'm still bidding on Elite - Final Encounters - Three. Its just the game disk minus all the other media.

I suppose I should get cracking and start playing them.

Oops, I don't have a Commodore Amiga and I'm not sure if the game I'm still bidding requires a PC with DOS to play on.

Perhaps, I should go back to the PC Emulations.

First Encounters was PC only I'm afraid.

Look at www.eliteforever.co.uk at the downloads and remakes sections.

That's interesting, I never really got into the second and third game and only stuck with the first and I have always thought the name Elite sounded awesome all by itself

No surprise though. Because as in your case; Frontier was my first exposure to this game series. Hence why it stuck with me. :)

But after getting familiar with the rest of the series, I like Elite and the unique logo.

I'm just glad they are sticking with something so we have some continuity.
