WHY? Why are you carrying "Grain"?

Dunno about grain, more I wonder why people dont respond to simple requests, happens soooo often. Do they panic so much "OMG OMG OMG PLAYER PIRATE" that they don't notice you talking to them?

On several occaisions now I have interdicted players with the intention of KW-Scanning them to see if they have any bounties.... Every time they either fight(not very common)
or they run which is:
A) unnescessary as i'm not pirating them and
b) quite laughable when I am in an eagle and they are in a Python or Cobra....

On the two occaisions that they fought, they dissapeared just before being destroyed...

OK, so ill pulled this guy over, immidiatly asked for 12 cargo and if he complied we would leave the instance safe and sound. needless to say for some reson he refused and started to run, so i start my attack trageting his cargo hatch "getting really goo at that BTW" so no need for a hatch breaker and cluttering up my cargo hold with limpets and proceed to take his cargo hatch out, stuff stats pouring out and im thinking to myself mmmmmmm theres the goodies. i take his cargo hatch down to 0% and hes in 3% hull, i stop my attack and let him leave, no need for needless killings. and he promptly SC'es away, so i check my contacts and low and behold i HUGH list of "Grain" worth about 200cr on the black market...yay i just made enough to pay off the bounty and fines i got from shooting the guy. not a very profitable venture thsi time around. and honestly if the guy would have stopped and said i have grain lol i would have laughed and offered him so of my own credits "if that was a thing i could do" just cause i felt bad he was carrieing grain lol.

Yep, poor guy probably couldn't afford anything other than grain... You probably feel so cool in your kitted grief ship, ruining other peoples games...

Can't find an npc hauler, might want to buy a new scanner then, lots and lots about...

-1 cos you probably ruined someones day for your own twisted pleasure.

I don't even bother with low valued commodities unless it's to fulfull a rep-gain mission, or it's the only thing I can sell at my destination starsystem.

Pirate without a cargo scanner = griefer trying to look like a pirate.

No offence to pirates but I pretty much see anyone who wants to take 'my stuff' as self entitled sociopaths.

Yes the game acomodates the ability to 'pirate' but it simply boils down (for me) as people who are 'stealing' my time. It will take me time to recover from an interdiction, it will take me time to replace my goods, it will take me time to replace a destroyed ship, ect ,ect.

That is why I am grateful for 'solo' mode. And do not have to deal with 'time thieves' (other than (poor) Ai ones that is).

Once I am able to defend myself and have enough money for a decent kit, I will be happy to login to 'MMO' mode and give 'pirates' a run for thier money :)

They probably don't even realise you're a player and not just another NPC.

Requests or 'demands'? there is a difference.

Well, ask nice first so they don't panic and I have to shoot them, if they are mute and try to run, show them who's boss by taking out their shield and little bit of hull, then it's time for 'demands' ;)

I dunno, flashy white-blue text on your comm panel is quite noticeable in my opinion :p
