Wifi adapter for xbox one

Welcome to the forums CMDR.

I would go with the original one. The first one in this list.

Af course, wired internet is always better. Specially for Elite Dangerous.

Woo don't buy this. The USB Adapter is for a PC to connect your Xbox One Controller with your PC. The Xbox One has an excellent integrated WiFi Chip with 5GHz support. There is absolutely no need (and no way) to get any other USB WiFi Stick to work with your Xbox One.

LMAO! Hes right! There is a build in Wifi chip in the xboxone.. i never use wifi, so I totally forgot!

Im sorry.

Psst, quick dusty, lock it down, no one's looking, I'll distract...

Too late :D

Although it has to be said, never run a games console off wifi. Especially if you are going to be fighting something. The ping times are usually much lower on a cabled setup.

Drill multiple holes in ones internal walls ( much to the Wifeys dismay ) and run a loverly dark blue ethernet cable from the hallway to the living/front/lounge room [wacky] all around the sofa/couch/settee along the bay window to the Xbox. ;)

I have no choice but to run Wi-Fi... And believe it or not, it is in my case, better.

I actually made a genuine upgrade in my PC network performance when I switched to Wi-Fi with a TP-Link Archer T6E. :)

I just ran 20m of Cat7 around a couple of walls and doors into my Harry Potter cupboard from the router to the PC, lol...Xbox is already hardwired.

If you have to go wireless, go with a Netgear Nighthawk X6. Its a BEAST. But you'll pay a bit for it.

LOL

I used to install cable internet and I've seen customers run Cat7 in some very funny ways to get an Ethernet line to their systems.

I only had to drill through one wall...and a pile of cable pins to make it tidy :D
