Wild Boar or Peccary?

With the recent debate between the two swines, I have decided to make this thread. I would like either, but would probably prefer the peccarry.

Peccary, especially Chacoan which is Endangared and looks really funky 🤩

Peccary 100%
Specifically, the collared peccary, we would also have a very versatile animal because it would have the biomes of the desert, grassland, tropical and temperate also a North and south america animal

The wild boar does nothing for me as an American, though I obviously understand why European players want it, and it's obviously the most necessary suid (peccaries are in their own adjacent family)

My preference would be the Chacoan peccary, which is by far the main peccary in the AZA and is an endangered species.

For me personally, neither, but when I try to be objective, the collared peccary and wild boar both seem important. I was on team wild boar, but SA has fallen so far behind that I'm now on the side of the peccary. If SA gets more stuff, I'll be right back on the wild boar team. Europe probably ought to get something before too long, and the boar seems to be the best mammalian option although I'd personally prefer a chamois, wisent, or a smaller critter like a pine marten.

These this or that threads are getting kinda... do I wanna say dumb? Anyways, Peccary for sure... to me a Wild Boar looks kinda like a feral pig...

Neither is at the top of my list but, also, neither would be something I’d be hugely disappointed to get. To be honest they’re about equal-pegging for me.
