Hi all,
I've just found out about this game, and I can't wait for it to be released! Haven't been this excited about a computer game in a very long time!
However, all I have to play the game on is a laptop meant mainly for work. So I'm worried how Elite : Dangerous will play on it.
I accept I'll have to turn all the settings down to minimum. But I don't want to find that even after doing that, it still runs as a snails pace.
Is there any kind of 'tech demo' that can be downloaded just to see how the graphics engine runs?
(I'm not looking to actually play the game, just see how performance is...)
Thanks,
Rich
My laptop specs are:
64-bit Intel Core i5-2540M CPU 2.60 GHz (4 core)
RAM: 4GB
Graphics: NVIDIA Quadro 1000M
(When I look at the details of my graphics, here's the gumpfh I get:
DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
TOtal Available Graphics Memory: 3780 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 2048 MB
System Video Memory: 0 MB
Shared Video Memory: 1732 MB
