To be fair, im sure most of those 800 accts with nothing but ED are squadrons with shared accts to manage private groups where more than one person can access the pg for invites and to accept join requests.

Can I just say this Arthur fella, what a boss this bloke is. This thread has existed for donkeys years and he's come and had the decency to respond to the question - albeit not the answer anyone wanted - after all this time. Simply because he was asked. Not the "no plans" or "nothing to announce" marketing-speak guff that we've had before.
What had originally irked me the most was not getting any meaningful response whatsoever. Although I'd obviously like it to be a level playing field for PS4... that's another story.

That's rubbish. There's a PS4-Logo at the end of the odyssey trailer... Reading might help.
I lost everything including my gaming my pc in Storm Callum 2018. My PS4 was a gift from my sister as I was housebound/ wheelchair. Gaming is my outlet and escape.
I enjoy the game and I know I'm not the only one buying arx with what little money I have, but it would be nice to not feel like a second class citizen for once.

I seriously doubt Playstation commanders will see the Cobra MkIV this side of the Odyssey DLC, especially with Arthur's confirmation but if people still wish to discuss it, they can here.
Not really, I was referring to the lack of attention (and respect?) we PS4 players get of which the lack of CIV is just the figurehead. I still have a trophy issue outstanding from well over a year ago and I suspect it will never be addressed.
Meh, id rather be out a mediocre ship than be out a sweet dlc, but thats just me and i can totally respect your stance on the issue

No matter what, we can definitely see this: It was a disastrous decision to lock players out of a spaceship game which revolves around collecting spaceships.

I would assume that there is only going to be cosmetics in the future for pre-orders.

I get the frustration dude and at this point, have at it I say.
But realistically it would be a bad idea. This community is already fractured enough as it is. Frontier really needs to focus on everything in the future being the same going forward.
I dare say that's part of the decision to delay VR in Odyssey for now. So that everyone can play it in a reasonable time-frame. (Ignore the guys saying they can't play without VR. They are yet to provide evidence that they are physically or financially unable to play without VR.)

Fdev paddles contrary to other developers, and I put the example with the Cobra Mk IV, other developers launch preorder content, but after a while it is available, well ... Fdev seems that this does not understand.
