LostWinds Will there be a possibility of Lostwinds coming to the nintendo switch?

Hey, so the Lostwinds were games I kept seeing on the wii shop channel, but I never had the ability to buy digital games at that time growing up, but always loved the concept of playing this game where you could control the wind with the wii remote.

With the wii shop channel dead, I do not think I could play the game how it was made back then, but I am playing on the switch lately and love how many options of play the switch has with standard controls, touch touch, and motion controls. I recalled World of Goo came to the switch and used the gyro controls to act as a means of motion control, and I would love it if lost winds would get a port of the switch and utilize these control options.

I was lucky to get it on my iphone and enjoyed the game, but it felt overwhelming at times. Was a great time for sure!

Oh yes! Definitely, I would love to see this happen.

Lost Winds is an amazing game! I brought it again on Steam when it was added a few years ago, and while it's good using the mouse, it's nowhere near as good as using the Wii controllers. Having Lost Winds 1 & 2 on the Switch would be amazing.

Hey! This thread may be showing its age, but you know what hasn't? My interest in seeing Lostwinds coming to Switch.

Rather more appropriately, the New Switch 2!

I am not just bumping this old thread for nothing as I do want to share a bit of news. Over the years, the Nintendo Switch was given games that has the use of motion controls similar to the Nintendo Wii, by using the Joy Con’s Gyro feature. This feature is impressive but is mostly hit or miss.

That is until Nintendo Switch 2… for the Joy Cons for this system actually utilizes a more advanced form of gyro controls. From what I understood, it uses an accelerometer to continuously adjust the gyro, so the cursor is practically always calibrated to not lose its position.

Below is a video from GVG that shows how accurate the new motion controls are on the Switch 2.

I have tested this out myself with World of Goo and Samba De Amigo Party Centeral, and it has been really really really good. I aim to also try out Mario Galaxy, Skyward Sword, and House of the Dead remake. So far, the Switch 2 is off to a great start when it comes to Motion Controls.

Not only that, but the System also has Mouse Controls, which is criminally underutilized right now but is just perfect for Lostwinds.

But seriously, the Nintendo Switch 2 is selling like hot cakes with 3.5 million units already out in the world in just a week after launch, people are clamoring for games that would make the most of the Switch 2 features, and Lostwinds are Nostalgic games that came out on the Wii that I am sure people would love to revisit again on the new portable and versatile Nintendo hybrid system.

It would be excellent and would personally make my day if Lostwinds were to come to Switch and Switch 2. Thanks for reading!
