Will there be procedural islands in JWE2

I loved that JPOG had this and it was great i would love to see this it would add so many hours of replayability for years to come and even if its not on the table now the devs should add it because it would add so many hours. when jwe didn't have it it was my biggest disappointment with the game and im sure it was man others disappointment i real hope it gets added thanks for listening to my ted talk

If you mean having the ability to use a pre rendered island based on some simple options that you choose, like size, mountains, tree volume, I think no.

It has been stated that for JWE2 we are moving off the islands to the mainland. I do think Isla Nublar and Sorna will be included, needed for Chaos Theory, which should make them avaible in sandbox.

The pre rendered with options maps are soooo obsolete given what can be accomplished with the terrain tools in JWE1. I expect more creativity with enhanced terrain tools in JWE2.

Don't forget that maps are going to be bigger, I fear not for just creativities sake, but as a necessity due the Territory requirements of the dinos, but depending upon the terrain tools and your imagination, sandbox mode will be the mode everyone will spend the most time in, eventually.

The problem is creating a random generator that consistently looks good, something that gets harder with more details. In other words, it's a risk for time investment.

As to what's happened, we don't know. I personally feel the time would be better spent elsewhere, towards new environment types or ironing out bugs for example.

The way I see it, JWE2, the previous game, and all of Frontier’s COBRA games aren’t compatibly built for such a thing. Even if the JWE games did have it, it would be horrendous in every way because the established world/map builds for JP:OG and the two JWE games are fundamentally different in many technical perspectives, something I’ve noticed myself for over two years.

Unfortunately the maps are very small they are not bigger like they said they would be but they do look amazing
