Will these work with Elite Dangerous?

Sorry to bug again but was curious,I will be purchasing the Gladiator NXT EVO ‘Space Combat Edition’ Premium - Right Hand On the 1st of Dec.
then on the 1st of January I will get the Gladiator NXT EVO Omni Throttle - Left Hand

I know these from you guys will work in Elite Dangerous but I wonder if any one here plays and know if they will work in X4 Foundations and Spacebourne 2?

One other silly question I have is will they be considered a upgrade and are they way better quality than my current Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Flight Pack?
Will the stick work with the Thrustmaster Throttle for now till I get the other throttle?

One other question I have was are the bases on the stick and throttle heavy cause I will be using them on my computer desk for now till I can get something like this;
UCM Desk Mount Combo Set - Space-Captain

Or maybe this or similar

Flight stand

Sorry for bugging and thank you for the help and advice.

as far as i am aware any combination usb device can be run raw (driver only no device intrim software running like target)
custom control rebinding required (see lost binds sticky top of this subforum when you have your devices setup)
dont own x4 or spacebourne🤷‍♂️

Oh ok cool thank you.

Curious if I would pay a little more and use DHL instead of Fedex will that decrease the time until it gets to me? Or will it take the same time?

1. Yes they will work with X4 - I presume also that Spacebourne thing.

2. They are a magnitude better that the TM stuff - "upgrade" is putting it mildly. There is not a problem over which throttle you use - before I got my EVO Omnithrottle I had the stick paired with a CHPro Throttle (I still miss the buttons on that but the OMNI is much more precise).

3, The bases are not particularly heavy (not at all as heavy as the Virpil or Warthog) - however the four plastic / rubber / synthetic strips under the four corners are remarkably efficient at keeping the units in place (wipe with a damp cloth from time to time, just like the disc on the Honeycomb Alpha mount). You don't need those desk-mount things, yes they would help if you throw the controls about a lot in combat but I find a plastic grip* does the job, though most of the time I don't need it.

er no idea when it comes to choice of courier
ask for special delivery;) via https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Imperial_Courier
Oh ok lol :)

I am a little confused about there shipping will I be charged more money when Fedex or DHL would get here? Would the Fedex driver or DHL expect money from me when they get to my door? Don't want unexpected fees :( I never got anything overseas before.

i think that depends on where you are exactly but you should be able to determine that by there websites before transit via inquiry
i am in uk so dont apply to me

Oh ok im in the U.S.

I see this on the USA site (I'm in UK so it was different for me):

USA: VKBsim ships all products from China. Customers must be aware that US Customs imposes tariffs on goods imported from China that are valued at $800 or more. If you place an order over $800, you will be liable to pay the import tax and tariffs upon delivery, which is 25% of the order total. This tax must be paid at the time of entry and is collected at the border by the carrier.

Oh ok the order will be at a total of like $366 or less so I'm assuming I am safe then? So no fees or anything when they get to my home correct?

If I may ask where could I get those things ya recommended in the pic?

I have no idea. You guys have state / local taxes so I don't know if that applies - presumably if there are any needing to be paid it will be done by the carrier and you have to reimburse them, in which case they have a "handling charge" (called something like that) for them doing so. I had to pay that when I got my stuff ('cos of Brexit!).

I emailed the NA Site and they did say that as long as it stays under $800 I will not have any additional fees, taxes, etc.

Hmm :(
I have been watching review vids on YouTube for the stick and throttle I am getting NXT EVO Space Combat and NXT EVO Omni...

I am beginning to have second thoughts :(

From the reviews on YouTube so far they keep saying that because its all plastic that it can break.
They also keep saying that those metal springs can break I mean the ones that are #10 #20 and #30 that ya can change out.
Also from the vids and what I can see they look cheap I mean the plastic.
I also found out that they don't come assembled you have to assemble them.
They do say that the software is hard to understand but that's fine I like challenges :)

I have had my Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Flight Pack for like 3 or 4 years so far and they are still working fine,I just want to upgrade everything.
I have the Honeycomb Aeronautical Alpha Flight Yoke and to be honest that seems a lot better construction and quality and I paid like $300 for that.

Hmm for $400 total for the stick and throttle I would think they would be better. I do understand they a mid range stuff but still.
If I would get the stick and throttle I really hope they last just as long or more like my Old stick and throttle.

Maybe I could get there Fighter sticks arnt they all metal basically? Maybe Get a stick for like under $400 from them? and get a throttle a month later.
Maybe this one? Gunfighter IV 'Space Combat Edition'

Sorry don't mean to sound like I am hatting on them I just want to make sure I am not getting poor quality stuff and not have them brake so easily. I am not rough with my stuff so ya know.

From personal experience I can say that is nonsense. Did, by any chance, those who told you that they are cheap and can break also have a business relationship with Virpil or any other higher grade manufacturer? Read the testimonials we gave you in this thread, and all over the forums and other Elite Dangerous virtual spaces. There is no better quality stick you can buy for that price tag.

I also found out that they don't come assembled you have to assemble them.
The assembly consists of screwing the grip to the base, plugging it in and puting on the base plate. It is not rocket science. VKB also provides very good visual documentation of the assembly (and complete disassembly should you wish to do it) on their YT channel.

The software isn't easy, but you only need it once for calibration (which is, again, well documented) unless you want to reprogram something - don't try to calibrate the stick with windows tools. The manual is long but good.

If you want to talk yourself out of buying a VKB that's fine. But the T16000M is a toy compared to the EVO stick. The TWCS is a good pair for a throttle with a VKB stick though. Cannot comment on that yoke, but don't listen to high end snobs that the EVO line is "cheap" or "breaks". It will if you abuse it. Everything does.

Sorry don't mean to sound like I am hatting on them I just want to make sure I am not getting poor quality stuff and not have them brake so easily. I am not rough with my stuff so ya know.
Well look at the sources and try to see what their incentives are. Nobody here giving the EVO stuff a good testimonial has any financial interest in recommending it, yet there isn't a single negative voice about that stuff on here. A "professional" YT reviewer might have said incentive - not saying they do, but the "high end" stick guys on the net tend to trash everything that is cheaper than four figures. Especially when they get that four figure stuff for free.
