While I approve of this, I think it sets a dangerous (pun intended) precedent for people to "request" in-game tributes for famous people who are no longer with us. Is there a starport named after Leonard Nimoy?

Indeed there is. Its called Leonard Nimoy Station and its located at LHS 3006.

Don't know if these are new, I've not noticed them before, what are the blue-ish concentric circles that you see around planets as you approach them?

Am I the only one who can't download this? The launcher sits at Sync Files with a tiny sliver of progress bar and a timer reading (I kid you not) 2 days (now 3 days after typing this post... it's somehow gotten SLOWER than "stopped"). I've tried restarting the launcher AND the computer. I can connect to ESO, YouTube, everything else just fine. This hasn't happened before.

Any tricks I can try?

They've always been there. They are meant to give a sense of approach speed, but because of the pale colour, they look like the orbit lines so it can get quite busy graphically.

The first thing to check is in Internet Explorer - go into Internet Options, then Connections, then LAN settings, and untick Automatically detect settings.

Leonard Nimoy?
Yes.

Robin Williams?
Maybe. Haven't looked. I will tonight.

The crew of the Challenger Shuttle?
Maybe. Haven't looked. I will tonight.

At this point I would like to ask if there is a station (or planet or other object) named after the following?

Douglas Adams
Robert A. Heinlein
Isaac Asimov
James Doohan ("Scotty")
DeForest Kelly (Dr. McCoy {"Bones"})
Gene Rodenberry
Majel Barrett
Andreas Katsulas ("G'Kar")

And if not, please "Make it so."

PS. what about the crew of the Columbia?
And where's "Armstrong Landing"?

I don't know about all the people you mentioned but there is a Roddenberry station. Cant remember where it was though.

- Smaller ships now better at smuggling - Decrease chance for being scanned if you are in a low conspicuous rated ship – such as a Sidewinder

Nice! But how fine-grained are the differences between ships here? Is a Type 6 still less conspicuous than a Type 9? Or are Sidey and Eagle just less conspicuous than everything bigger?

Thanks FD!
