Are the devs involved in some API?
Winwing devs make his own app using journals data like attacks or Supercruise overcharge activation?
Can we connect our buttkickers, or home made phalic product to this vibration?

I expect a Winwing side, because FDev could include this in some form of Roadmap or Twitch stream, future content its always good.

My understanding is that relying on journal data has inherent latency—it's quite noticeable with eg Observatory Core and Odyssey Material Helper popups/audio feedback. API seems more sane approach. And if it is API, implementing it to other stuff than WinWing haptic feedback should be doable. It's all just sine waves and linear motors, after all.

At the most basic level you can simply add tactile transducers to your audio setup, there's a lot of subbass frequencies to SC and witchspace enter/exit, gravity wells etc that gives good haptic feedback already.
