Roller Coasters WIP - Arachnid - An Inverted Coaster

Can't wait the alpha 3 to visit this kind of parks.
I'm sure I will spend more time visiting other parks than building my own lol

The giant spider is amazing !!! [big grin][up]

Cheers everyone. There will be a POV once I've finished the ride.

In the meantime I've created a preview walkthrough. I wasn't happy with the video quality of my previous videos and so I've been playing with the settings to try and improve it. Unfortunately my PC is just too old to create smooth really high quality captures, but i've tweaked what I can to improve it a bit:

Super! Very original and realistic. Reminds me a little bit of Black Mamba, Phantasialand. Also a B&M inverted, deep below the surface.

For the last week I have been doing small improvements to the coaster but also as a change of pace I have begun to flesh out the surrounding areas:

The only real new thing in this shot is the skull spotlights, but I think they add a lot

I wanted a very simple and small flat ride that could be covered up (ignore the experiments in the background ;) ).

In the background I have begun building a castle, and some overgrown buildings in the area leading to it

The castle should just be visible from near the park entrance

I wasn't too happy with the castle I was making, plus lots of people already have done castles, so I decided to rip it down and try something different.

I still haven't updated to Alpha 2.2 yet which means I can take advantage of a bug that allows you to rotate wall pieces. Using this I came up with a pyramid:

Placing the sloped wall pieces is a very tedious process as each one is actually an individual building and must be manually moved into position. So to save time and because the back half will hardly be seen, I decided that the pyramid would be half buried in the sand, and the front is overgrown to add detail and blend in with the forest area in front of it.
