So here's the deal.

I have to move around a lot in my house. I have two dogs and a cat to look after, plus loads of other chores.

I've been thinking of getting a wireless headset for a while now, but I'm a little concerned about latency.

I know it's going to exist to a degree, but I don't know how bad I can expect it to be.

What should I know?

So you feel the need to be able to hear your PC while you are taking out the garbage or chasing Spot around the yard?

Really?

No I feel the need to not get in a tangled mess of wires every thirty minutes.

I use a very good wireless headset.
It has a thumb drive size dongle.
Stick it in a USB port and the PC sound goes to the headset. Take it out and sound comes from PC speakers.
Cannot remember the name costs about $80.
When I get home I will post name & model #.
To keep sound on headset range is say 18ft.

Edit Headphone is Corsair HS70, has unplugable mic, I paid $99 from Corsair.

Spoke to that Chap in Computer shop you know the one that sell you dodgy reclaimed computer equipment

I asked him

'Do you sell wireless headphone'
He rumaged in his box of stuff and pulled out a pair headphones and handed it to me'

That will be ''£10'

I said this headphones has a wire on it.

So he took out a pair of scissors and cut off the wire.

'There you go, wireless headphone, That will be £20'
