Game Discussions Wiring issue t-16000

Hi newbie here thanks for membership
I bought the thrust master T-16000 flight pack when i set it up i put usb into a hub glued under a shelf
I had a friend cut a bit off shelf and his jig saw went though the usb conector not the wire of 3 days old kit
I found replacement usb connectors but i dont know which wire in which of the 4 slots inside
Cant find anything online or even anyone who has replaced a connector before on pic black line shows the cut line tried to fix but didnt work

Have a look at my T16000 mods link in my sig. Probably the easiest is to cut the cable off an old mouse and solder the wires on to the board - replace the whole cable. USB wire colours are pretty consistent: black = GND, red = 5V, white = D-, green = D+. Take a photo of the inside of your TM where the USB connects before making any changes.

Massive Thanks guys worked a treat dont look prety my soldering not good but now i know it works might have a go making it more secure and pleasing to the eye, untill cable management and fitings done.

Start saving for fanatec wheel now i found a uk company to supply extruded alli say they wont b beaten on price and they are in london, sending parts list see what they come back with. Watch this space.
might build a perm rig.
I was lucky yo get a 3070 early in process nightmare but hey i got one shh gf dont know £££s
