So what do we call a Bounty Hunter hunter, a hunter of Bounty Hunter hunters, or someone who hunts the hunters of Bounty Hunter hunters?

I propose Bounty Hunter^2, Bounty Hunter^3, and Bounty Hunter^4... an easy to remember system that trips readily off the tongue and is expandable to even the most niche higher orders of Bounty Hunter..

You can take the suggestion you like best and it can then with time if successful enter into Elite Dangerous parlance. "Watch out for him, he's a Wolfhound' Awed silence and respect cos everyone know a Wolfhound kills Wolfs, the bounty hunters. (as an example)

Cool, in which case that is nailed on assassins work then, taking money from criminal elements to get rid of a "problem"

There is not much difference between assassin or bounty hunter in practical terms I guess, other than the potential for a bounty hunter to keep a clean record.

I was thinking along the lines of wetworks-specialist until I saw the 'jazz bandit' and realised you would have to use a very legible font so no miss interpretation could be gained otherwise you would probably get some very strange job offers...

This role is basically an assassin although not advertised as such... from RL:

Mechanic? Too cliché?
Wet-works? Hmmm
Jazz Bandit? Careful!
Cleaner? Too ambiguous although maybe needed after Jazz Bandit goes wrong.

I know - Assassin! :D

How about Liquidator or Jäger (Yeager).

The latter is German for hunter and I reckon it is pretty cool (used in Pacific Rim).

Have to agree with Serial Killer.

IRL people do things for profit. Bounty hunters kill for the bounty. Assassins and Mercenaries kill for a contract. Enforcers and Thugs are the regular muscle for criminal organisations who are compensated for their work. Pirates kill to steal cargo.

If you just stalk and kill a particular type of person just for pleasure, that's a pattern for a serial killer.

oddly enough I was thinking of taking on the role of hunting down commanders who hunt bounty hunters.
what would be a good name for that role?

I may even take it a step further by hunting down players who hunt players wanting to hunt Bounty hunters.:D
beyond that its just gets silly.
